Seattle Waldorf School (SWS) offers an experiential, holistic, integrated curriculum, for early childhood through high school students. Over its 100-year history, Waldorf education has had its challenges communicating the depth and breadth of their program, the deep philosophy behind it, and the benefits to students and their families. For the past 15 years, I have created a modern, clean graphic look that visually captures the essence of the SWS program and promotes their enrollment and fundraising efforts, through both print and digital channels. A small sampling of projects are shown below.

Following extensive campus renovations, expansion and program enhancement, I was asked to designed this 7×10″ double-gatefold piece to communicate the school’s accomplishments and future vision to parents and donors.
The SWS annual report serves to thank donors from the past school year and give an overview of income and expenses. Photos of students and infographics highlight the educational program. I designed the 2016-17 report to function as 17×22 inch poster, with financial information and donor list on the reverse side. It was folded in fourths and mailed in a 9×12 envelope.
At SWS, the arts are infused into the academic curriculum to deepen students’ learning. As a result, artistic capacities are highly developed. For several years, I have designed a calendar that highlights student artwork from kindergarten through high school. Part of the 2018 version is shown below.
