R.D. Merrill Company

Background

The R.D. Merrill Company develops, owns and manages luxury apartment residences. A family-owned company with its history dating back five generations, they are well-known as a leader in award-winning senior housing through their subsidiary, Merrill Gardens. I created all of the marketing materials for Merrill Gardens over a ten-year period, as well as materials for several multi-family development projects. Below is a small sampling.

The 101

The 101 is a luxury apartment community in the heart of downtown Kirkland. I designed the sales packet for prospective renters, which highlighted the prominent location and lifestyle, while the building was under construction. The packet included a double gatefold folder with two pockets for floor plans and information inserts.

Freestone Condominiums

The Freestone Condominiums project involved converting an existing ski resort’s inn and cabins into condos. I designed the sales packet, which included a folder, brochure and a number of floor plans and information inserts, highlighting the Methow Valley’s sunshine and snow for year-round recreation.

Merrill Gardens

I designed all of the marketing materials for Merrill Gardens retirement communities over a ten-year period, which included ads, direct mail, flyers, posters, door hangers, menu covers and e-newsletters. In addition, I created materials for prospective residents, which outlined independent, assisted living and Alzheimer’s care choices, along with numerous floor plans showing unit options for their 60+ communities across the nation and around the Pacific Northwest.
